Wingroad Y11 Brake upgrade

Postby dragzster » February 22nd, 2005, 10:04 pm

Guyz, I realised that the Almera has bigger front rotors than my wingroad so my question is, can I swap those bigger rotors and put them in my car? If possible can Primera and Maxima/Cefiro rotors fit up front too?

Lastly, the rear is drums/shoes so can I get the rear disc setup from the Wingroad X-Aero model and even upgrade the rear with Primera and Maxima/Cefiro rotors?

I real getting feddup with my poor brakes, I need something a lil more high performance for my car. Thanks!

^^^thanks hornchile, can any one confirm if this is a reliable install? Wouldn't it be easier to source the wingroad rear disc setup or not?

If your car is close to stock those big calipers and rotors add a lot of weight

Simple slotted rotors for your vehicle
Above average disc pads...
Stainless steel brake lines
Would increase braking performance

Does the brake booster have to upgrade also Single to Double?

You should upgrade it as well.
What are the dimensions of that Serena double piston brake set up?

Have to do a physical assessment and compare

The base 370z also has dual pistons so wanted to see the difference. My deciding factor will be bolting back to the spindle as the 370z application does.
What do the Serena rotors and calipers go for?
