The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Juan Carlos Antonio Pitre Pulvete, who lived on Jerningham Railway Road, Endeavour, Chaguanas.

He was apprehended by officers of the Arima Intel/Ops Team, headed by Woman Sgt. Ramai, who intercepted a silver Toyota Fielder wagon, Reg. No. PDL 6534, near the Cumuto traffic lights on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

Crime Watch understands that during a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly found and seized one (1) AR-15 rifle, one (1) revolver, two (2) shotguns, and twenty (20) rounds of .38 Special ammunition.

Carlos was arrested, and during a subsequent search of his home, officers said they allegedly found six (6) revolvers, thirty-one (31) rounds of 9mm ammunition, forty-one (41) rounds of 5.56 ammunition, forty-six (46) rounds of .380 ammunition, and four (4) rounds of .45 ammunition.

The suspect is expected to be charged with trafficking firearms and ammunition.
