It's the same they can send someone to get the info, everybody knows someone. When I want info on a vehicle I send the vehicle number to my associate who works there. A picture of the computer screen with all the information is sent to me. Why you think this cannot be afforded to the men in jail? Buying a vehicle? Ask the owner for a copy of the certified copy to verify its in their name . It isn't an unreasonable request which them jailbirds does capitalize on. They need advertise the same vehicle for sale many times and collect downpayments or organise robberies.

'Boyie’ killed: Armed robbers murder fruit vendor at home—‘spare she,’ one suspect said, girlfriend unharmed

A 25-year-old fruit vendor, identified as Ville Junior Blair, also known as "Boyie," was shot dead during a home invasion at his residence on 10th Street, Techier Village, Point Fortin. The incident occurred around 11:55 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Police reports indicate that Blair and his 33-year-old girlfriend were in the bedroom when they heard a loud bang at the front door.

Three armed men, all wearing ski masks and dressed in dark clothing, forced their way into the room. The suspects demanded cash and valuables, stating, "Where the gold and money?"

The assailants robbed Francois of a Cuban gold chain valued at $20,000, a gold slave band worth $15,000, and $140 in cash.

One of the men reportedly said, "Spare she" before all three turned their firearms on Blair and shot him multiple times. The gunmen then fled the scene on foot, heading east and then north along 10th Street.

Officers of the Point Fortin Police Station found Blair's motionless body on the floor of the bedroom, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Several spent shell casings and live 9mm rounds were recovered from the scene. The District Medical Officer pronounced Blair dead, and his body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre for a post-mortem examination.

Investigations are ongoing, with officers from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region Three, processing the crime scene. The motive behind the killing appears to be robbery.— Story by Ian Alleyne Network

In addition to stealing an estimated $100,000 in jewellery, the suspects also made off with approximately 20 cell phones, the property of various victims, and the family’s green Kia Sportage SUV (registration PDB 9879), valued at $320,000. The home’s CCTV DVR system was also taken, erasing all footage of the crime.

$100,000 stolen from real estate agent's St. Helena Apartment

Police in the Las Lomas district are investigating a major housebreaking and larceny incident in which $100,000 in cash was stolen from a third-floor apartment in St. Helena on Saturday.

The victim, a 46-year-old real estate agent of Madras Road, St. Helena, told police he secured his apartment by locking all doors and windows around 9:00 a.m. on May 31st, 2025, before leaving the premises.

When he returned around 6:00 p.m. that same day, he discovered the front door, located on the northern side of the apartment, had been broken into. A further check revealed the bedroom, located on the western side, had been ransacked. Missing from the room was $100,000 in Trinidad and Tobago currency.

Violent home invasion in Penal — man shot, chopped and robbed of Toyota Hilux, van found in Barrackpore

A Penal man was shot and chopped during a brutal home invasion around 4:30 a.m. Friday, shortly after returning home from a night out.

Garvin Seecharan was reportedly entering his home along Rochard Road, Penal, when he was ambushed by armed assailants — some with guns, others with cutlasses. He was shot in the leg, but the bullet struck his phone, reducing the impact. He also sustained two chop wounds to the head during the attack.

Seecharan managed to escape to a neighbour’s home while the suspects fled the scene in his blue Toyota Hilux, registration TDS 3649. He was later rushed to the Siparia Health Facility for treatment.

The stolen vehicle was recovered a short time later recovered stuck in mud at Oropouche South Trace, Barrackpore.
According to reports, Seecharan had been at a bar in Barrackpore, earlier in the night. Friends say he was playing cards there when an altercation reportedly occurred between him and the bar’s owner. He and his group left the bar around 3 a.m., roughly an hour before the attack.

Police are investigating the incident and reviewing possible connections between the altercation and the violent robbery.— Story by Ian Alleyne Network
