I only realized after I put it in the ground and had to dig it up to put in a pimento plant.
Hear nah, I am thankful I saw it before it became an infestation. But this morning, I got about 15 small ones in a small area.
I not buying manure again!

I am wondering myself. I used to buy from the people who drive around and never had a problem.
A next door neighbour who moved out a couple months ago gave me a couple bags of manure that she had. I am starting to think that her manure was the source of the snails. Not sure who she would have got them from.
Last night I was out at 9:00 p.m. and 3 a.m. this morning. Got a few at 9 and maybe 3-4 at 3. I scraped and collected the manure salted it and threw it away.
Tonight, I have not seen any - fingers and toes crossed.

we do a lot of things which violate many food safety standards
for example chicken is a known carrier of salmonella
yet most ppl don’t even think about drippings or washing chicken meat can spread raw droplets around and cross contaminate stuff in the kitchen or even their other food in shopping cart
