^^hmm. but for the intercooler, would a vent or scoop make more sense?

since the Evo and GT4 has FMIC, are the vents just to remove heat?

I am thinking about installing a scoop.

I myself i dont have a surf but got the advice from my uncle who did it with his surf. He has his about 5 years now with the scoop turned backways and no cracked windscreen.

or the STI scoop.

I also saw this kind which is pretty cool. Dunno if it will fit on the bump on the surf bonnet.

Has a foward facing part for the Intercooler and reverse part for extracting hot air.

I got one from a jimny turbo, it fits pretty good in the middle of the hump.but its pretty small and lookin kinda dotish.is like this

but one like this mounted around the middle of the bonnet will definately look awesome!!

I need to find a place that has a few so I can try and see yes. And get my bloody cam up and running to document what I doing lol.

aidan,

Today i changed the sway bar links, the surf handles alot better.

One was shorter that the other, is your like that?

I replaced them both the same lenght, paid 170 for one..........cannot under stand how something so small is almost the price of a shock

haydn28, :| buh i jus ask a simple question.

AllTrac, thanks dude.ah takin off that dark tint too boy.

SNIPER 3000, nah boy, the both are the same size, they easy to change though, but important lol especially for highway/roads. You could disconnect them if you offroading though to get a bit more suspension travel in the rear and better articulation of the diff. Make sure and have them bolted up properly for onroad use!

aidan,
Thanks for telling me about the panhard rod.

GRAND BAZAAR i saw a PCM surf SSR-X LN130 in best condition same model as ours, i spoke to the guy he said he was a returning resident, oh it came with a scoop looked good.
If i keep mines i will place the rear facing one, my engine donot need the forward facing.

SNIPER 3000,that lookin cool.missing a scoop but those vents lookin real wicked lol.

I dunno about the rock climbing with the LN130, but i think it can handle the same stuff as the 2010. Even though the 2010 one has dual barrel shocks and thing.

I did some offroading already, but i accustomed to smaller suzukis lol, so i wasnt able to hit my usual areas, the surf a bit more difficult to turn in smaller spaces. My pops went up in a quarry with it the other day, he say it handling nice up there. ill look for a safe place to take a quick run and let u know, but for now i not planning on roughin it up, cuz unlike the suzukis parts more expensive lol!

BTW, if you planning on doing a look like that get a separate set of rims for your mud tires and keep allterrain tires for everyday use, unless you put free wheeling hubs in front, cuz u gonna eat up your nice mud/offroad tires lol. And u mite cuss for tire noise on the highway. Had some interesting experiences with that on a samurai.

^^one of the visors cracked and another got damaged when my garage gate got blown in thank goodness though, they saved the door/glass from damage, and the clips were getting a bit rusty,so i didnt want it to get my doors rusty. Ill keep an eye out for them,if i get a new set for a good price ill put them on.

No tires yet nah. Will get a set of ATs or SUV tires for the while, and put on a set of Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels (or something that looks like it lol) in april/may with some good AT/Trail tires.
