I would prefer to replace rotors. Most likely a rotor woild be warped. Then if so what about the inside of the rotor? Ive done the dial guage thing before. Always found rotor replacement is the best. Even if I shave and polish the rotor it doesnt last because it gets thinner

Mine is not warped, it is worn down so much, that the inside edge of the rotor is touching the disc pad and it makes a loud screeching sound when stopping after the car has been running long on the road.
Zimmerman replacement rotors and new disc brake to be installed.

This is exactly my timing (second set of pads on car)......however the disc pads are not fully worn.

Seems 2 is the magic number.

Changed all diff fluids. Still getting a bit of a vibration under load....not unbalanced tyres...thinking either the rear Diff mount or one of the axles.

Attempted to rotate tyres as per manual 10K Km recommendation. It was observed that the front was not more worn than the back, so no rotation done. Tyres did take speed balancing with minor weights. Alignment was next and did not need any adjustment :-o, it was last adjusted 7 months ago. Very surprised to see this. I put it down to the rotation period may need to be longer than 10K Km. Alignment, well I have been beating some rough road, not fast and pleased that it did not need adjustment (Skoda Yeti).

What sort of rotation regime do you all follow?

Got it dyno tested.

Image

Anyone know about dynojet dyno? First time doing this and was wondering how people interpret the chart. I am curious as to why both runs aren't closer together in terms of shape. I would be more inclined to trust the red run with atw figures of 145.6 hp and 156.2 ft-lbs torque as the general shapes of the curves match more what I've seen from the manufacturer. Manufacturer claims 160hp, 177 ft-lbs at fly wheel.
