biggest headache is the local 'specialists' who frig these cars up......dropped my 206 wagon in for a transmission rebuilt because it was starting to slip, got the car back working worse, after 7k parts and labour, and nearly a year waiting :-/

I'm swapping my tranny for a gear box although up until the flood it was working perfect, but with the plans I have, a tranny wont cut it

I live a few houses away from where this pic was taken... Always admired that car when i passed. I hope where i saw it last it was there for repairs and not suffering the same fate as the other cars in the road of the same brand...

Actually it was sold to a Peugeot technician and is presently undergoing some serious upgrades.....

After removing rocker cover, cam and springs were found coated with dirt oil and mud

Removed the intake and exhaust manifolds followed by the complete front of the car.

Pulled the engine and transmission

Next step is to clean engine bay and separate and clean transmission

Bump . What are plan for the build ? Saw you plan to change to gearbox , so assuming staying with same engine or going gti ?.
