the ui itself works great honestly. They implemented a lot of animations so it sort of cuts into load time. Actual channel load takes about a second or two.

I called TSTT to disconnect my entire service yesterday. The woman say "sorry to hear datt!!! you really disconnecting TSTT's service?" ah say yeah I get flow. She say ok well I was hoping to offer you a deal to stay with us.

I say what kind of deal is this? She say well I will double your speed to make up for it. I say nah I good not paying $200 for 2MB when I can get 15MB with flow. Then the added bonus of ubber low latency for games, that a bit pointless to remain with TSTT.

One negative thing about flow is it disconnects quite a few times for the day. and unlike TSTT where you can see the yellow icon near the Ethernet icon, on flow it displays nothing so it looks like if it connected. This disconnect only lasts a very short while and I understand almost every flow customer suffers from this.

Heads up.

If you plug in a flash drive into the moca tv box... Format it... It will activate the pausing/ replay of live tv.

Must have latest fw for it to work.

hmm strange.

My friend from Freeport got disconnects multiple times for the day until he cancel flow and reactivated TSTT. The thing was flow could be how fast but if it constantly disconnects then online gaming becomes useless.

I have yet to be disconnected from an online game, however when trying to load webpages many times it time out. But does not time out if I switch back to TSTT DSL modem.

Also I didn't know you had to give 30 day notice to disconnect TSTT. Now I have to pay for 1 extra month of DSL that I won't use. hmm What would happen if I let the bill remain and don't pay it since I won't ever be using TSTT again?

Just went thru this with them when i moved out of my old apartment. Be sure to document the date and name of the person you speak to. I did mine over 824-TSTT. Met my ex-landlord recently and she handed me 5 bills they sent. Took a couple days to sort out, like just over a week, but the majority of the time was occupied by someone who didn't know anything. Thank God the 2nd person wasn't the same way.

^ crap I didn't take the name of the person.... Didn't even think of it!

should I call and just inquire if my request was logged in?

How is it even possible for TSTT to operate on such a sub 3rd world standard?

Because of years of dogshit service and still making money.

99% of time I went into TSTT office, it was just ignorance, arrogance and shitty attitude.

When I wanted to disconnect, I email them and they replied asking for some additional ID.
I gave them and the next month I still get a bill. Good thing I had the email saved.
If you emailing them make sure and tell them to reply to confirm that they receive your request.

How frequent are these disconnections with flow and how long does it lasts?

other than copper vs fibre, whats the difference in the internet access between flow and blink?

Thinking to make the switch but i need a reliable/stable connection.

I had let them know I was leaving the apt within 2 weeks so I couldn't wait the 30 days. the girl said she would call back to see if they can add priority disconnect. Then later the day they called and said it would be disconnected in 24 hrs. I moved out knowing my bills were paid up but when I followed up after meeting my ex landlord, the CSR told me I am partly to blame because I did not follow up on the request. I was in shock...

I had the problem with the wifi randomly dropping, but I changed my box to the one without wifi when I moved, connected a router and was good to go.

Ok so I just called TSTT and you all right, the dumbass who took my report never recorded anything.
I did that report over the phone, the dumb ass took my ID card number and verified everything and said she made the report and someone will contact me in 24 days or so.

Now as you all advised me I call back to verify this was done, this dogshit company has my bill running and they say I have to pay for all the days of this month gone so far as they have no records of me asking for a disconnect. What a completely sub 3rd world latrine service this company offers people. steups!!!!
I going in, in person St Augustine branch and deal with this sheit yes good thing you guys told me about this.

Now I am even more anxious to run from these brain dead morons.

I think the reason I was getting disconnects was because of kick em jenny. My flow works perfect now, no issues at all. Everything returned to normal since like Saturday gone. And any disconnect with flow only last a few seconds anyways, a disconnect from TSTT lasts hours to days or even weeks.

other than copper vs fibre, whats the difference in the internet access between flow and blink?

The difference with internet from flow and blink besides fiber vs copper is that Blink uses DSL which is an outdated technology now and is highly dependent on distance from the telephone exchange. In theory DSL is dedicated but in reality TSTT speeds drop far more than FLOW ever does. It eh matter how dedicated your line is, when TSTT over subscribe their service like they doing now, it all goes to hell.
FLOW service is shared so theoretically speaking in peak times you get lower speeds but this is not true for me or most people we get full speed most of the time. At most my speed may drop from 15mb to 14mb at most, think about it this is better than 1 guaranteed MB TSTT offers for the same price why would you care if 15 drops to 14 with flow when TSTT will remain constant at 1? 1mb is so much rubbish in this day and age. besides my 1MB with TSTT always ran at about dial up speed so so much for DSL technology.

Thinking to make the switch but i need a reliable/stable connection.

None of us here knows if FLOW will be the best for you, you need to take the chance and order flow its only $250 for installation and you get a free wired modem. If you already have cable tv it supposed to be free to get internet or atleast very cheap.

I did not know if FLOW was best for me and how it would work for me in my area and my connection I had to take the chance to find out and I am very very very happy I did. No more garbage copper getting wet in the rain anymore. I know for a fact TSTT was garbage for me for the last year and the company is useless. Imagine their response to my problem is they don't know what to do.

If I were you I would take flow and see how it works for a couple weeks.
