Help : Samsung s7 locked

Trying to help someone whose phone ended up locking due to incorrect swipe used.

They had fingerprint unlocking and had swipe as the back up option. Tried fingerprint and swipe and phone ended up locking totally.

Can anyone assist in having this resolved. A factory reset didn't help with it.

Lol......serious thing guys......have documents to prove it's their phone etc etc.....help needed. Sprint did a factory reset and still didn't solve it. They suggested returning it to Samsung to try to resolve . No gimmick

so return it to Samsung with Sprint's documentation. What's the problem here?

Also if this was a valid complaint, the Google/Samsung account can be logged into from any computer and reset the phone password remotely. Where he incorrect swipe it so? In he ass?

Sprint / Samsung said there is no guarantee they can solve it. I think they tried accessing this from laptop and Google said it seems someone is/ was trying to hack the account. I dont know everything that transpired, just trying to find ways they can resolve this issue. Like I said it's no teef ting. Actual owner of phone with documents to prove.

Can anyone provide some steps to take to try to resolve?

I had a similar problem with my s6, but it gave me 15 attempts until the phone would have locked completely. Btw, they were 1hour intervals. I simply went onto the settings menu and I activated find my phone and ended up signing into Samsung's Mobile site and wiped the phone. It worked.. But obviously you have to be the owner of the phone and have your Samsung service password.

Yea the new security on those phones real different. I went by someone and change a j7 lcd the other day and like they try to unlock it a few times to test it out....i now have to wait 800,000 minutes to type in the right pattern if i dont want to wipe the phone and lose everything on it
